Oswalt to Philly

This seems like a good deal, especially with the news that Oswalt's expensive option will not be picked up for next season, but Philly would've been so much better off just keeping Lee in addition to having Halladay. Regardless, Halladay-Oswalt-Hamels is an excellent 1-2-3.

ESPN.com is reporting that Roy Oswalt has agreed to waive his no-trade clause and will accept a trade from the Houston Astros to the Philadelphia Phillies. Houston reportedly would get left-hander J.A. Happ and two prospects from the Phillies in the deal.

Oswalt is scheduled to start for Houston on Friday night against Milwaukee. If the deal goes through and Oswalt stays on schedule, he would be on the mound when Philadelphia opens a three-game series Friday at Nats Park.

He will turn his season around now that hes not playing for the Buffalo Astros. When he looks around and see's that he's on the Yankee's of the NL a fire will ignite and he will tear shit up. Yankees will have their hands full with the Phils rotation in the World Series.
