Based on the last two times umpire Phil Cuzzi has worked behind home plate for a White Sox game, manager Ozzie Guillen has a strong feeling about what will happen according to the Chicago Tribune.
"I know I'm going to get ejected," Guillen said Wednesday, two days after Cuzzi ejected him for arguing balls and strikes for the second time in two seasons. "You can ask my bench coach as soon as I say, 'You're going to handle this game today because I know I'm going to be ejected' because that's how I feel about that situation."
Guillen believes Cuzzi goaded him after arguing a called strike on Paul Konerko in the third inning of the Sox's 7-4 comeback victory over Minnesota. Said Guillen: "He doesn't like me, I don't like him," Guillen said.
"One reason is, if you don't like me as a man and what I do, I can respect that. But if you don't like me and you're going to take it out on my players, you're wrong. That's unprofessional.''
