Never underestimate the scouting dept. of the Marlins. They're insane. Cabrera was a product of the system, as was Willis and Beckett. Also Derek Lee, Luis Castillo, Juan Pierre, AJ Burnett, Trevor Hoffman, and Carl Pavano (HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!) among others. Before they were Marlins, they were nobody, then they become beasts...except for Pavano, of course.

Now look...Ramirez, Uggla, Jacobs, Olsen...and most likely Maybin, Rabelo, and Miller will become really good, too.
