I don't know what you guys have against Lynch ... he had a pretty stellar season behind our OLINE, and he was injured. He also had to run against some of the better defenses in the NFL -- look at our schedule last year.

EMO -- it's no secret our (Gamecocks) run defense was awful last season.

I have nothing against lynch at all. I just have a huge thing FOR jones, and like I said in another thread I'd like to see the bills emulate a running back by committee approach. So to me taking jones or mendenhall at 11. would be great value, but also would lessen the wear and tear on either back. this is also why I'd be fired within 2 years of my gm reign

I agree with Emo. I would not be mad at the Bills if they took a RB even though they won't. Lynch/Jones . After watching those highlights the Bills have to draft the Arkansas center Jonathan Lugis. He's amazing. Look at the holes he made for DMF and Jones.

Yep, I saw PLENTY of Lugis -- being a fan of an SEC team, and that guy completely dominated at the line. I would really be happy if we draft him.

I hear ya. I guess D-Wright quite didn't pan out like some expected -- I know I expected a lot more out of him, especially after Lynch went down.

I'd rather have Fred Jackson and fill an area of need at 11.

again, that is why I'd get fired in 3 years, tops. though jackson isn't in the same level as jones.

you knwo who I wouldn't mind grabbing in the second is chris johnson from ecu. he's a smller back more like a free jackson, but he's incredibly fast. one hell of a good running back but a split carries kinda back, never going to carry a load

that is a pretty solid axiom, brian grant, bradshaw, jacobs.

put together a good line and a solid fulllback, have a decent passing game and generally an anfl caliber running back will put up numbers.
