ralph wilson needs to "release control of the team" that is the only chance we have of success or proper management of this football team we cheer for

I've been saying that for weeks (although in a more politcally correct way, like "God has to take him to heaven"). If he dies, the team might move though, but so what. We'll suck anyways with him as our owner, which leads to crappy players, crappy coaches, crappy scouts, and a crappy "GM". As long as Wilson is alive, we will continue to suck.
Maybe we'll get lucky and he'll just sell the team to a local buyer. That might be our only hope. Who knows, the dude could live til he's 110.

Wilson dies, Bills move...
It's a catch-22. As long as Ralph Wilson lives, he keeps hiring staff that make him "comfortable", thus causing the team to continue to be mired in mediocrity. When he dies, the team gets sold upon his death, most likely to a bidder that moves the team outside of Buffalo. Jim Kelly's group won't get it done. Nobody in that group has close to enough money to be the majority owner. Therefore, the NFL won't allow it.
they won't allow the team to move either
Holy fuck, get a grip. We're talking about football here. You want people to die because you want your football team to get better?

Jacobs cannot own the Bills right now because he owns the Bruins. If he said anything about owning the Bills he'd have to answer questions about selling the Bruins. Golisano has said in the past that he'd be interested, but he's also said they are not for sale and wouldn't comment on it right now. I think that's sort of the unwritten rule.
Do not go gentle into that good night
Rage, rage against the dying of the light
so wilson can be alive and this team will be good? i didn't in the post say i want him to die

Keep buying the tickets. Keep buying the merch.
Why stop now, Bills fans??
I dont quite get all this talk about the team moving. Obviously buffalo isnt the economy it once was, but at the same time there are a lot of advantages. The entire west side of metro toronto is close enough to the border for a lot of people to come down to Buffalo, go out to eat for a good price, stay in a hotel for a good price, and enjoy the bills for a good price. If they move to toronto its going to be three times as expensive to go see a game. thats the same reason tons of people come down to watch the sabes instead of going through hell and paying ten times as much to get a ticket for a leafs game.
The toronto game was hyped up and was the first NFL game in canada... yet they didnt even sell out... they didnt even come close to selling out. Why? because if you are from Hamilton its way cheaper and way more fun to come to Buffalo and watch a game than to go to Toronto and watch a game. who the hell wants to pay 200 bucks for a ticket plus 14% tax plus 14% tax on the food and 14% tax on the overpriced hotel??????
I went to the bills game last week and people were going nuts, the tickets were sold out despite the fact that the stadium was not packed, the bills store was packed you couldn't get in to buy any merchandise.
Also.... why in the hell would the players want to move to Canada and pay way more in income taxes than anywhere else in the NFL? I bet there might be some objection to that.
There are still 1.2 million people in metro buffalo. tons more across the border and everywhere close that are willing to come to these games. People all over NY state watch these games. If its not broken dont fix it.

Yep, Ralph needs to kick the bucket. He has zero clue how to run an NFL franchise.

Wow, anyone who thinks Ralph should die is extremely pathetic. It's like me saying I hope your dad dies so I fuck your mom. I'm honestly appalled at this thread.

denver's owner today..
When asked about what letting go of Shanny and getting a new coach "is worth:"
"You can't be worried about what it's worth. This business is football. If you're worried about what it's worth you should be in a different business."

again i didn't say i want him to die i said he needs to die for us to be good
Come on, he's lived a good life. It's time for him to move on to greener pastures.
