Cardinals get another extension to sell out

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playof...ory?id=3805057

Second extension to sell out their first playoff game EVER in Arizona and they can't sell out. Pathetic fan base.. Even the 3rd poorest city in America would sell out their stadium for a playoff game, the first in their history. Don't give me the Houston game in 1992 either, that was when we were used to superbowls (still no excuse) but c'mon is there any way we would not sell out a playoff game today?

This is with about a month to sell tickets since they have had the division locked up since november, even more pathetic

The Vikings had 8,000 tickets left for their game as of last night too.

What a joke. If we had one, tickets wouldn't last an hour.

In the old days (Pete Rozelle), the NFL stuck to these deadlines. Now the deadlines are meaningless. It's all about money ala how many tickets can we jam down people's throats.

Maybe the NFL fanbase is in the throws of a recession?

In the old days, the NFL underestimated the effect of TV. Salaries in the CFL were higher than the NFL's at one point because of this.
