Your reaction if the Bills draft Devin Thomas?

You know, I'm starting to warm up to this kid. Although I remain one of the Hardy Boys (How fucking sweet was that pun? Score one for ), my near-the-draft turn on Thomas is reminiscent of the one I had w/ Lynch last year. For the most part, I was pretty "meh" on Lynch, but as draft weekend approached, I was rooting for the Bills to grab him. It's kind of that way with Thomas now. I know he's not the red-zone threat Hardy is, nor does Thomas possess the size, but there is something about Hardy that is seemingly holding him back. I'd be more than happy if the Bills drafted him, for sure, but Thomas would be all right, too.

So, if the FO is reading this (and they totally are -- Tom Modrak is fucking glued to TBS), you now have CJI's blessing. Godspeed.

    P.S.

Don't use No. 11 on a corner, please.

I would be anxious to see him play for the Bills like I am with all our picks.

Did you see Thomas on Rome is burning? I liked the interview.... the kid has obviously worked very hard to get where he is today. ... I like adding guys who know what it takes to make it.

He gonna be a player who plays with a chip on his shoulder.

In watching his highlights his game seems suited for a WCO...lotta YAC. I hear that he was used a lot running bubble screens... well he must have ran them well.

I can see him fittinf into our offense well, and being a nice compliment to Evans...looks like Moulds to me (just body type and height)

I would be disappointed for the fact that I haven't seen him work the middle of the field or run a good route (even his fly routes aren't very good). IMO these are things that make a good WR2.

I'll be a fan of whoever the Bills draft, just would rather see them go for James Hardy.

I have nothing against Thomas. The fact of the matter is the Bills don't need him. All our WR's and RB's are RAC guys and thats all Thomas is. We don't need RAC we need TD's. Hardy is the best redzone threat WR in this draft bar none. If we draft Thomas I won't be mad cause I understand but he will have to win me over.

    I don't think we're drafting a #2....i think we're drafting a #1.

Isn't one of the knocks on Hardy his route running, and his lack of quickness coming out of breaks.

I think both guys are going to need time to get used to the pro game... I'd rather have the guy who has busted his ass to get where he is over the guy who has a reputation for being lazy and giving a marginal effort....

Hardy's route running is fine, I haven't seen a problem with it. Sure he'll have to work on it like every WR who comes into the NFL will. I see Thomas' route running as a ton more slipshod.

I hope your not talking about Hardy. His stats and records show otherwise.

Why do so many predraft analysis disagree with you?

What routes did they even run at Indiana... that offense was about as vanilla as it gets.

    "A ton more slipshod" Really?

At the end of the day, I don't think anyone here, or anyone doing predraft stuff for any website knows what they're talking about so its kinda silly to argue.... sorry.

What I don't like about Hardy is the knock that he's lazy...lazy guys become busts.

His college stats and records mean nothing in the NFL.

Tons of pre-draft analysis have mentioned his attitude and his effort in practice and games being less than 100%

Google James Hardy draft and Devin Thomas Draft....

You'll get a ton of links... most will contradict each other in some way, much like the people here.

Nobody here, or writing for free on the internet has a clue.

I'm gonng defer to the professionals who have access to much more footage than we do.

The professionals I speak of don't have links... I have no idea where Hardy and Thomas are on the only draft boards that matter.

If you want links to the countless Draft "experts" go ahead and google what I said to google... there will be plenty of links that say plenty of contradictory things about each guy.
