Stafford sucks.

He sucks so bad that he's widely projected as the #1 overall pick.

Never in a million years. We already have a young QB now we need a vet backup i.e. Jeff Garcia.

Maybe he'll be good... but not if he goes to detroit.
The Bills have a lot greater needs than a QB.
Ya, but if he slips to the Bills, you have to be intrigued to take him.
He should stick with hockey.
Thanks, I'll be here all week. Try the veal.
Seriously, Stafford is a POS. The next Rob Johnson - all the tools, but a terrible QB.

Those same draft experts that proclaimed that the Bills had the best quarterback on draft day when they traded for Rob Johnson?
Ryan Leaf had the tools to be one of the highest drafted QBs in the draft. He was drafted #2 overall for a reason. Did you even watch him play in college?
Some guy on a message board that has barely seen Stafford play is an expert at determining where his draft position should be? OK
I would riot. Especially if we took him over Sanchez.
No way in hell.
Most draft experts simply try to predict where someone will get chosen. They're not experts on how a player will perform, only where he'll get drafted.
But some idiot GM will fall in love with his tools. He has those. But so did Jeff George, Rob Johnson and other QBs. Jeff George was drafted where again?
It's such a crap shoot.
Hell, if Matt Ryan fell to us last year, I probably wouldn't have liked the pick. But look how he performed.
You underestimate how much football I watch.
And Ryan Leaf is precisely why these draft "experts" should be ignored at best and mocked at worst. There are good ones (Mayock) and bad ones (McShay).
There is also a difference on how people view QB play. Too many people get sucked in by a strong arm and height (sounds familiar) and underestimate accuracy and poise. I am on the record as stating any team that drafted Tom Brady anywhere would have a steal. He was a surprise to some people. Not to me. This should also indicate that I have no problem seeing the talent in my enemy. So when I say Laurinaitis sucks, believe me, he sucks.
And people can see the same game and come to different conclusions. You watch the BCS championship? Bradford and Tebow were terrible. Most of the offense in that game came from missed tackles. Given the terrible coverage, that game should have had a much higher score, but Tebow and Bradford missed a lot of open receivers. That said, I would like to see Tebow get a shot at QB, which I'm not sure the NFL will give him.
Sanchez will be a much better QB than Stafford. Sanchez' deep accuracy is much better and his ability to read defenses is much better.
Not happening. Wilson said earlier this offseason how important continuity is with their young QB and the head coach, blah blah blah. To turn around and draft a QB in Round 1 would be completely hypocritical.
