1. It's Peter Regin.

2. If you think Regier will ever pursue a restricted free agent, forget it. Never happening (unless it's the Oilers, but nobody knows if he's still holding a grudge).

I happen to think highly of Regin and believe he would have fit in perfectly. and Yes their are other things to worry about but I'm ticked off about this, The Sabres had a perfectly good shot at getting this guy or atleast making another team in our conference pay more then they expected to and maybe making them do less with the cap, who knows. Anyhow all I know is the Sabres need a change and add a known or up and coming scorer because the current guys (except, Vanek, and Ennis) I'm tired of looking at and a change of scenery will do them good.

Wow, someone actually went trolling, I'm honored lol. How much ice time did Regin have? What line? I still would have taken Regin over a very small Kennedy or a tired Niedermayer. Just curious to what Regins numbers were last year and what line he played on and his ice time compared with this years. The Sens have woes this year for sure, but last I looked we do too. I also wonder if our beloved Sabres are digging them selves out of a hole to make the play-offs just to get knocked out again and draft at a worse position again. Would be nice to get a #1 pick over all. Could we do it via trades at the deadline or on Draft day???
