The team ultimately decided to walk away from the ruling, allowing the 25-year-old winger to become an unrestricted free agent. On Saturday, he inked a one-year deal with the Toronto Maple Leafs, worth a reported $1.1 million according to Sportsnet's Nick Kypreos.
