When we were younger, Mike Weber was the biggest jerk of a human I've ever met to this day.
Not sure if his personality changed, but he and his father were thrown out of Beaver County's hockey association for causing so much trouble.
He also must have improved VERY quickly, because he was only playing tier 2 bantam hockey, in his age group, and as a 6th defenseman, before joining the Junior Pens. Good to see him playing in the big's though. There are certainly more talented players than he, from Pittsburgh and around his age, but he did what it takes for most to make it to the NHL, and that's finding a niche. He'll likely NEVER be more than a 15-20 point player, but like I said, he adapted his game to what it takes to find a roster spot, so that's good for him.
