my dream bills first 3 rounds.
I have a thing for rolando mcclain, however, poz the last few weeks has been outstanding and I would like to see the bills actually go after dansby to supplement of the lb corps as he was franchised for the second time last year. With mitchell coming back you'd have dansby-poz-mitchell
I think you have bigger problems to deal with at lt, qb, dt, wr.
I don't think there is a de in this draft worthy of being picked in the top 10. It should also be mentioned that the bills have invested heavily in the position, albeit not wisely. Adding another top 10 salary would be a waste of money, unless you had a can't miss player.
with the bills first round pick my first choice is gerald mccoy(I'm assuming suh is long gone) my second choice is eric berry, and my third choice is terrance cody, and finally rolando mcclain(he becomes my first choice if they don't go after and get dansby.)
In the second round the bills look to address the hole at tackle and the lack of quality offensive line depth. My choice here is gabe carimi. He's a huge lt from wiscy who is a solid pass blocker and dominant run blocker. I have read reports that say if he were to come out in 2011 he'd be a top ot. if he chooses to come out, the bills could really benefit from having him on the line, perhaps work him in at rt, looking to shift him to lt.
Also, a guy I'd love to see brought in as a stop gap measure at tackle is matt light. Vollmer has rendered him a back-up and it would seem that ne is going to let him go.
Ideally my line next year looks like this: light-levitre-wood-butler-carimi
in the 3rd. I'd go with lefevour. I don't think he'll actually last here, I believe the bills will have to trade back into the second to get him. He has great size, is an elite athlete, however his arm isn't the strongest, and he has never played in a pro style offense. I think with proper management, the fever could be a solid nfl qb. By that, I mean he spends his rookie year as the 3rd qb, seeing time only in an emergency or in the event of a blowout. This would necessitate the bills bringing in a player to compete with brohm for the starter's job. I prefer mike vick, but wouldn't be opposed to campbell, or another vet.
I'll add this as a bonus. in the 4th, I would love to see the bills grab danario alexander, wr mizzou. He's a 6-5 215 pound player with great hands but needs to work on his routes. he isn't a speed demon, but if you ran a 4.4 at hsi size he'd be talked about as a first round type talent.

Nice draft but you are judging the LB corps as if we are going to be a 4-3. If we are a 3-4 I'd still take McClain and get Dansby or one of the LBs that are going to be FA out of Oakland [Morrison or Howard]. That way you have say a Mitchell, Poz, McClain, Dansby or Howard. If you go Morrison you can still draft McClain and move him outside. QB is a toss up and is really hard to judge who to take but for some reason I like Pike.

I have no problem with schobel not being here as a 3-4 de, aaron kampman had a ton of trouble making the switch, I think schobel is a better athlete than kampman but still you never know how 4-3 rush ends will fare in that defense.
you still have mitchell-poz-?-maybin
mcclain still hasn't turned his paperwork in, so we don't even know if he's going to enter, though I think he's just waiting for the nc game to declare.
