Haha, I'm glad I was brought into the discussion. I was done crushing for the most part before we started dating. I'm pretty much done vidding for good at this point. My xbox has been unplugged for 2+ weeks and it's about to go in a box in my attic. I feel bad that it ended so quick, and I've love to see the team make a rebound...but I won't be apart of it.
As for TBS. I'm really busy right now. I'm back to working 50+ hours a week, and usually head out somewhere shortly after work. It's not just TBS, I've eaten dinner at home just twice in the past 2 weeks. So for now, I only have time to check the site here and there. Once the playoffs approach, I'll be on more for sure and back to being a better contributor to the site.

I agree with the lull, talkbuffalosports may as well be talkstabbingyourselfinthesac right now. The Bills are depressing, the NHL regular season is such a letdown after the Olympics, and even if you do care about the Bandits/Bisons, they suck right now.
One suggestion I would love to see implemented if possible - an ignore thread button. I too mostly look at the new threads, and would love the ability to permanently ignore threads that do not interest me. The new (to me) mark threads viewed button is helpful, but I think the ignore button would be best.

There are a few general interest boards that I post on that have this feature. They have thread tags for different subjects like News, Movies, Games, Sports, etc. and if you don't care about the Wrestling tag or the Crafts tag you can choose to block it. I'm not sure what it would take to implement something like that here.

Let me see if they have an ignore thread mod out there. Vbulletin 4 is fairly new, so there aren't nearly as many mods available. However, they are coming in almost on a daily basis.

When I'm not working or sleeping I want to spend time with her. Ohh and we don't have internet so that kinda puts a hinder on my tbs time. I'll work on things and try and get on a little more. Most of my reasons for not being around much have already been covered. Work sucks right now, but if the FDA does not come around to our line of thinking work will not be a problem for me much longer. The time of year is a killer too. No football. Hockey winding down the regular season and we are all waiting for playoff hockey. Add in the spring starting to come around, and you have people who are spending time doing non-intraweb related activities. It is time for outside activities.
And, like others said, most Buffalo sports boards are slow now. It is a natural cycle. Wait until mid April and this place will pick back up.
Get Gerbe back.Somebody has to be able to find him. Let him know we love him. I always thought he was fine. I prefer too much enthusiasm to too much gloom and doom.
As for the layout, it is different, but necessary.
In short, this place is fine. It is just in a natural lull right now.
