Thread: Buffalo *****

I get that there was a huge falling out between the dudes running this board and the people over at The *****. I post over there too, so clearly I am not oblivious to it.

But I think if you want to make this a legit board, you stop talking about them. Be your own board. Okay, bring them up every once in a while to make fun of them, I'll buy into that, whatever. Buffalo*****rs bring up other rival sites (like BillsZone, for example) at times. But making a point of making fun of them at all costs will get old. Singling out particular posters (I haven't seen it specifically, but I get the feeling it could happen) from the other board and talking down about them will get even older.

I am going to continue posting there while I also post here.

I am not going to reveal who I am here (yet) or who I am here over there because I don't want to get in the middle of it, whatever "it" is (and at this point in the game, letting it be known you post at both boards puts you in the middle of it, sadly).

Agreed. It's over and done with; this place is better anyway.

It's been over with since last night. The only one still dragging this on is the llama admin/mods who are using proxy servers to try and get in here.

I am personally making it a priority to let people know that they should stop talking about that site.

What happened, happened, and everybody needs to move on.

I really don't have any hard feelings towards them, I would welcome them over here if they wanted to post. So, let billsman, and pete, and sukie and them guys know that if they want to come hang out, and post in a few threads, that they are more than welcome.

You are 100 percent correct BM - I am tired of it. We knew there would be a backlash...but we never wanted members of both sites to get caught in the middle of it. That is the biggest tragedy.

The internetz are big enough for everyone - I encourage everyone to come read up on everything Buffalo (sports and otherwise) here at TBS.com, join in the fun and come and go as you please - without fear or worry of ridicule.

We are going to be constantly morphing this site to give us a uniqueness...
