Anonymity and the Internet...
We here at TBS.com love having you all post here. If you post a lot here, we also realize that when you go out and post all over the internets that we may also be indirectly associated with you.
That is our cross to bear and we take full responsibility for sheltering you from the cold, harsh internet world.
Here is some cocoa...let me get you a pillow.
With that said, anonymity can be a very powerful and above all "misleadingly safe" mindset. Like these idiots, if you do something out of character because you don't think anyone will know it's you...I guarantee you, if someone wants to find out who you are, with a little snooping they will find you.
This then becomes a case of morality. If you feel, that what you post here (or anywhere else for that matter)...would you also say the exact same thing, in the exact same way, in the exact same tone directly to someone's face? Before answering, take into consideration the repercussions of what is being said and how it can follow you for the rest of your life.
If the answer is "no" - then I suggest highly that you rethink your wording or intended meaning.
If you say "yes", then it becomes about the intended "meaning"...or how you meant it. The two dimensionalness of the interwebs can be very difficult to discern from...so I personally, always give someone the benefit of the doubt. Others may not, so be prepared to act accordingly if someone calls you out on it.
One side of the fence (other posters or readers) may think, "man that is the funniest thing I have ever read"...and the other side of the fence may think, "man, that is some cold shit - what an asshole".
So be prepared to be judged on who you are by how you post.
Always remember...internet anonymity is a farce! I won't get into how you should treat people, because it's none of our business and we are not your daddy.
We try and convey this to you guys because we care.

I wouldn't have it any other way RTG...

It might stick...it might not...if I can just reach one person, this whole speck worth of a timeline that we spend on this world is worth it.
See? Isn't the two dimensionalness of the internet so confusing? Am I a sarcastic ass or a born again spreading hugs and kisses?
You will never know.
