Baiting members into believing certain NFL rumors was funny...the hook was also a very, very nice exclamation point to the joke.

However the constant ploys in trying to pull fast ones on members in chatbox or on forums here is getting a little out of hand and we are starting to hear about it.

Just know, it's been done before, probably a lot better then you are attempting to do it and it may be bridging on lame.

So in the end, the real would be you.

Totally agree. Very lame, borderline childish and surprising coming from some guys that I thought were above this sort of thing. And no, it wasn't me who complained about it. I quietly thought to myself "what is this, 3rd grade ?".

Ya know what's not childish ? Me saying FUCK OFF to those that disagree with what I just wrote.

However, I do want to point out that this isn't directed at one person in particular because the moments were indeed worth it. We just think it's starting to get a little played out and hope that everyone understands that.

If it comes up again randomly in the future then by all means.

I just think some peeps want to have some serious discussion and not get pulled into a discussion where the endpoint is "gotcha".

In all seriousness, this whole thing is clearly directed at me and that's fine. Lately, I've gone way overboard with the stuff, which isn't cool during a coaching search when everyone is on edge waiting for real news. Sorry. It won't happen again.

Reading my hasty reply (I replied when I was in a hurry), I may have come off a little harsh at the end. Sorry.

I don't mind the use of baiting here, I just thought it was kind of odd (not sure if that's the right word I want to use there) when it was being used on the a-holes at the Range. That's what I was referring to in my post.
