im thinking of trading mine in for the new slim. if you look on gamestops website, you can get like $195 for your old xbox if you trade in the system, hdd, 2 controllers, and the wireless adapter. so i would only need to shell out $100 more for a brand new xbox. i think i'll do it once i get my next paycheck

good luck finding one with the trade in they are sold the fuck out. reserves sold out.

the 2 that I went to were sold out on the intial orders, the reserve orders and the second shipment. However if you find them lemme know I want to pick one up.
Is there any difference between the old 360 and this new one ? Or does it just look cooler ?

matt, i called 4 gamestops today and they were all sold out and dont know when they're going to get a new shipment. i actually went to the one by my house and talked to the manager and he told me that they arent told when new shipments are arriving, and that they only get 3-4 new consoles per shipment. he told me that the best thing to do is call every other day and ask if any are available.
this is not looking too good now.
Back when the Wii 1st came out, all the Gamestops said the same thing. So, I found out when they got their daily shipments in, then just went there basically everyday at that time. Didn't take too long - maybe 3 days - before I got one. Maybe you should try the same thing.Originally Posted by budman90

I jut ordered one from amazon. it should be here by next week, I'll get a flash drive switch everything over and then go trade in my white bob, for credit and pre-order ncaa11, medal of honor, black ops, and nhl 11
im gonna still go for the trade in if i can....if not, im going the amazon route
