June 27, 2008 - The forums at High-Def Digest have gotten their hands on an image that appears to reveal an impending price cut for the Xbox 360. Currently priced at $349.99 (the SKU with a 20 GB hard drive, headset, and HDMI output) the advertisement suggests a 50 dollar price cut to $299.99. Thanks to GameDaily for showing us the way.
A price drop for the Xbox 360 has been predicted by many as E3, set to be held July 14-17 in Los Angeles, draws closer. We contacted Microsoft for a comment and, as should be of no surprise to any living person, the industry giant came back with the standard, "We don't comment on rumors or speculation" line. Gotta love their originality.
