Thread: Online League for EA's NHL'08

I've created a league for up to 20 teams, all of whom play against each other 3 times each, before some sort of playoff probably commences. I don't know what happens after every team has played all of their games because I've never done this before. But please, if you're interested, join up and we'll see what happens!

That's the point. Standings that include people on the boards....in 3 Head-to-Head matchups with each team. So that the games online mean just a little more. If you're not interested, we'll deal. I'm sure it'll be fun.

I will not use your email address for any other purpose outside of the SEHL. I actually made a yahoo email account for the soul purpose of this league. Feel free to do the same. Use your talkbuffalosports.com name if you'd like.

There are 19 spots remaining in this 20 team league. Each team plays one other 3 times each. I'm guessing that some sort of playoff will commence after the regular season is finished. I don't really know for sure though, as I've never made an XBOX live online league before. So please understand that we're all new to this. After this "season" is over, we'll make whatever tweaks are necessary to make this the best gaming experience possible.

Teams will be given on a first come, first serve basis. So in the order that I receive your emails, you will then receive the league password from me ASAP. The next person in line won't receive the league password until you have 24 hours to select your team. If for some reason you haven't selected your team with in 24 hours of receiving the password, you could lose the team that you want to another league owner.

Team rosters will be the NHL's current rosters. Please only choose an NHL team. We want to make things as fair as possible....So don't pick Team USA or the Western Conference All-Stars or something. This is an NHL rules league, game speed is set to the default, as well as the penalties and fighting. Everything should be pretty straight forward.

We have charbs from the Buffalo Range in the process of selecting a team. I sent him the password at 8am this morning. So he has until 8am tomorrow to select his team! But, I know he'll be selecting his team at some point today. Hopefully the Flames are still available, slowpoke!

Apologies to anyone that signed up for the SEHL (I think slowpokemcgee, many thanks, was the only one, but whatever). I decided to remake the league so that it was a 12 team league instead of a 20 team league. I must have been overly optimistic, thinking 20 teams was possible.

We'll keep the same teams that we had. But this will be much more manageable and realistic. Please rejoin the SEHL! Same password.
