Thread: TBS.com reviews Grand Theft Auto IV...

Along with myself, Emo, treydawg, JMNY83, dasaybz, slowpokemcgee, Resident Tough Guy - we spent a good portion of last night playing this game.

Single player - I'm not a big single player game type player and didn't get too far into it but the story line is really good and is keeping me interested.

Controls - Standard controls of this genre. Coming from the smooth butterness of CoD4 doesn't help and the controls seem a little clunky at first but once you get the hang of it, you are flying in no time.

Vehicles - They've made vehicles a little more true to form and harder to maneuver. This really separates the game from the ease of copycat Saints Row.

Multiplayer - Is AWESOME. Did I mention awesome? Yea...it's that good. You can jump in a lobby with all of your friends and do pretty much anything you want: Kill each other, kill pedestrians, kill cops, race, fly choppers, blow up choppers just as friends are getting into them...we spent the majority of our time in the lobby running rampant than any where else. Remember all of the hours of time you spent not advancing in Grand Theft Auto III? Now you can do that with all of your friends!

I really had a good time hanging out in there - almost more than playing the other multiplayer games.

As we get more into it...we'll have more reviews on the games that are involved with the multiplayer.

The single player is awesomeness. It's the first game that I've actually watched the cut scenes. They were right in the review, you do kind of care about Niko. You want to see him succeed.

the best part about last night was trey yelling at joe to lift off as the car next to chopper was on fire, and gus quietly mentioning that there was an orange blip coming right for them while trey demands that joe take off because I was coming to ruin their fun

however the game is incredible
