About Scott: Scott Leffler is a husband and father. But you probably know him as a talk show host. A former reporter and editor with the Lockport Journal, Leffler has been a member of the local media for nearly a decade. Married with two daughters, the 33-year-old Leffler is a Niagara County native. He grew up in the Town of Niagara, attending the now-defunct Military Road Elementary School before attending Edward Town Junior High and Niagara Wheatfield Senior High School (class of 92). He has a bachelor's degree in journalism and political science from Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio (class of 96) and has both formal and informal training in print and electronic media. Talk show host is just one of several hats that Scott wears. He and his family live in the city of Lockport and attend Emmanuel United Methodist Church, although not nearly as often as they'd like to. Scott was a Democratic committeeman, but had too many views that just didn't fit in with the Democratic party, so he left the Dems in 2005 and registered as a Libertarian. He currently serves as temporary chairman of the Niagara County Libertarian Party. His interests include tennis, hockey, politics and TV shows and movies that seemingly NO ONE ELSE likes. For example, his favorite movies include Hudson Hawk and Groundhog Day. And all his favorite TV shows get cancelled.
