Cant find a link or anything yet, but the people who are re-doing the inner barbor, aud, all that is looking into build a bridge or two connecting the inner and outer harbor.
This wont get rid of the skyway, but from what i heard they are looking at one behind the hsbc arena on main st, and maybe one down by shanghai reds.

Uniland Development is taking initial steps towards constructing a luxury high-rise condo tower on Gates Circle. The developer received a permit for the demolition of the Park Lane restaurant at 25 Gates Circle. The cherished restaurant closed on December 31, 2006. Asbestos remediation work will start this week and the demoltion will be complete by year end. The demolition is necessary to remove the 1974 structure from the site and prepare for eventual groundbreaking.
In a written statement, Uniland says it remains "committed to building luxury residences at 25 Gates Circle." The groundbreaking date to start the project has not yet been set however as a failed lawsuit seeking to block the tower remains on appeal. In the meantime, Uniland has been focusing on its mixed-use Avant project at Delaware and Huron. Avant's 37 condominiums will be on the market after January 1.

But i saw this, a lot of people have been trying to block this project, but this is a great one. Uniland did a great job with the avant building, now this, they're the best at getting things done.
