Has anyone watched John Adams on HBO? I only seen 2 episodes and I think it's great. They did a great job in picking the actors. I DVR'd the others so I will be watching them soon.

It is a great series.
However if you are looking for action and fight scenes - there aren't any. (This was the main complaint when getting feedback from people that I recommended it to who didn't like it)
It is extremely detailed and gives behind the scenes accounts of how this country broke from England, found it's own direction and became a powerful nation.
It really is interesting how this country could have shaped up differently if those that didn't have a clear conscious of Liberty were not involved...then again...we probably would never have broken off from England had these free thinkers not been at the helm.
I lost interest after the 3rd episode. Paul Giamatti annoys me after a little while and frankly the series is boring.
Great series, IMO.
