However, a problem has just occured with the CD drive. Whenever I put any CD (actual store bought or one I burned), or DVD, nothing happens. No auto-play options pop-up, no nothing. So I just tried putting in a store-bought CD, I went to the CD/DVD drive in My Computer, right mouse clicked it, hit Explore, and the CD tray opens up and I get a pop-up saying "please insert CD" - even though there's already one in there ! FYI, I checked the auto-play options and they're all fine. When I insert a CD, I have it set to ask me what program I want to start the CD with.
I went to Device Manager and there's no conflicts. I checked the properties of the CD drive and it says "device is working properly". By the way, the drive is a TSSTcorp DVD+RW TS-H653F, if that helps.
Do you think it's a driver issue (why now though ?) ? A possible dislodged cable inside ? Or is the CD drive bad ?
