I lived over 20 years without it. I could survive. In fact, it might not be a bad thing.

The first few days, maybe even weeks would be strange, but I think I could get used to it. Like Dilbert said, it probably would be a good thing.
The thing is, about 10 or even more years ago the mantra was "everyone watches too much TV that nobody can survive without it". Replace the word "TV" with "Internet" and a cure has been found...sort of.

After Hurricane Dolly hit us dead on having no electricity sucked so bad. It felt like an apocalypse at night. No fridge,lights, no moon light just pitch black. That and hearing my windows sounding like they were going to explode scared the shit out of me.
